The Bible, as a whole, was originally divided into 7 major divisions. They are
- The Law
- The Prophets
- The Writings, or Psalms
- The Gospels and Acts
- The General Epistles
- The Epistles of Paul; and
- The book of Revelation.
There are at least seven men in the Old Testament who are specifically mentioned as a Man of God. They are;
1. Moses (Joshua 14:6)
2. David (2Chronicles 8:14)
3. Samuel (1Samuel 9:6, 14)
4. Shemaiah (1Kings 12:22)
5. Elijah (1Kings 17:18)
6. Elisha (2Kings 5:8)
7. Igdaliah (Jeremiah 35:4).

4. Shemaiah (1Kings 12:22)

Seven titles are used to describe Christ in the book Hebrews. The titles are
- ‘Heir of all things’ (Hebrews 1:2),
- ‘Captain of our salvation’ (2:10),
- ‘Apostle’ (3:1),
- ‘Author of salvation’ (5:9),
- ‘Forerunner’ (6:20),
- ‘High Priest’ (10:21) and the
- ‘Author and finisher of our faith’ (12:2).
In Matthew 13 Jesus is quoted as giving seven parables (Matthew 13:3 – 9, 24 – 30, 31 – 32, 33, 44, 45 – 46, 47).
Seven Psalms are ascribed to David in the New Testament (Psalm 2, 16, 32, 41, 69, 95 and 109).
In the book of Revelation there are seven churches, seven angels to the seven churches, seven seals, seven trumpet plagues, seven thunders and the seven last plagues. The first resurrection of the dead takes place at the 7th trumpet, completing salvation for the Church.
Genesis 2:2, 3 declares; “And on the seventh day, God ended his work which he had made; and he rested from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. ”
Philippians 1:6 declares; “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

This Is Your Month of Rest and Completion In The Name of Jesus!
In this season, somebody will cease from their toiling and labor in Jesus Name. Enter into your rest for there remaineth a rest to the people of God. The 7th day was the only day God sanctified…This Month has been sanctified for you in Jesus name.
7 is a number of completion. Elisha told Naaman (2nd Kings 4) to wash himself 7 times in River Jordan so he can be healed of his leprosy. Bible says after the 7th wash, he was completely healed. His skin was like that of a new born baby. After the 7th wash of completion, he was made whole. In this 7th month of completion, receive your miracle from every spiritual and financial leprosy in the name of Jesus!
There were 7 places where Jesus shed his Blood signifying completion;
- Garden of Gethsemane
- Face
- Crown of Thorns on His Head
- On His Back
- Nails on His Hands
- Nails on His Feet
- On His Side
He did this to signify the work is completed. He cried out… “It Is Finished!” He didn’t say “To be continued” His work on the cross was a complete and perfect work. The Blood of Jesus speaketh better things than the blood of Abel. while the blood of Abel was crying for vengeance, the blood of Jesus was crying out for mercy.
The work is completed. There remaineth a rest to the people of God. Enter your rest and every thing God began in your life, shall surely be completed in Jesus Name!
